The present status!18th July'11Me: Lot's of upheavals at work and a number of clear-outs at home but hopefully heading for a bit more stability.
Daily Smoker: 1994 BMW 525 TDS Tourer. Still doing sterling service, the best all rounder I've ever had.
Escort Cabrio: Patiently waiting for me to get down the scrappy and acquire an ECU and Loom from a suitable donor car (2.0ltr Mondeo).
Cortina: Still patiently awaiting it's turn. Needs some welding, clutch mechanism come adrift and now the fuel pump has packed up. Must try harder!
Project Bratwurst: Successfully competed in last years PPC £999 challenge and did me proud! Now sold to donate its engine and gearbox to an old Mazda!
Crusty Camper: Still Sold! Has now gone to a new home after 13 years of loyal service. Hopefully now getting the attention it needs.

Get the Escort finished, check it all works, then sell it..
Get the Cortina back on the road and decide what to do with it.
I've also been finding it more and more difficult to quell the desire for an old vintage truck! I quite fancy a 50's Commer Q4 at the moment. Best not to ask why.
Daydream build ideas:
BMW M50 powered Triumph 2000: Either mk1 or 2 with the 2.5ltr 24 valve BMW straight six engine as fitted to 'Project: Bratwurst'. Preferably with LPG and a turbo!

BMW M60 powered Reliant Scimitar SE5: Another BMW engine but this time the 4.0ltr V8. Or maybe the same engine fitted to an old Rover P5b
